Nottingham Canine Massage, established 2015, is solely owned and managed by Karen Collins, Canine Massage Practitioner and Registered Veterinary Nurse.

Karen’s passion for dogs began back in 1998 when she acquired her first dog, rottweiler Kita. This passion was further fuelled when she joined her first veterinary practice in Jan 2000. This began a long career in small animal veterinary practice as a registered veterinary nurse.

Karen’s interest in alternative therapies developed after her running partner, husky Shadow was blighted with a persistent lameness, which despite all the traditional veterinary interventions remained unresolved. Research and a chance meeting with a canine massage therapist opened Karen’s eyes to the possibilities canine massage therapy could offer. The rest as they say is history!
